Yes, that's right people I am the Great Believer in wearing nothing but, Bib Overalls for now on in my life. And I suggest you do the same. They're really quite liberating to do so with. Indeed during warm weather you need not wear "Any Underwear" at all. And in the winter Long Johns minus boxers are only necessary. I'm seriously thinking about giving all my khaki's, cargo, and associated shorts away to the local interfaith Ministries Charity since I haven't worn them in over six months now and never intend to again.
My only frustration is that there isn't nearly the "Wide Selection" to choose from anymore in all areas. Several brands of Bib Ovies are no longer made at all. Like "Lee" no longer makes their classic line for the exception of special editions and on an infrequent basis that, can be really expensive as all hell. And "Osh Kosh B Kosh" quit making "ALL" their Adult Line altogether. Just to name a few! As far as "Bib Overall Shorts" or Shortalls for men. Such haven't been available for about ten years now from any manufacturer. So if a die in the wool dude like me needs "Shortalls" this upcoming summer which, I expect to be characteristically warm as pergatory. Given my Great Central Valley's reputation for such weather. I'll be forced to spend more money than I initially would like to on a few pairs of Carhartts and Roundhouses for the express of purpose of having their legs amputated from about just around the knees. So to make some Shortalls. Unless you're a girl, you shouldn't ever cutoff a pair of Ovies from any further than just above the knees as, you'll be asking for trouble in the manner of showing your manhood off accidently. Which can land you in bad trouble as, a drunk dude outside a Wal-Mart in the Midwest found out or so I read in the paper.
Also the colors that used to be available no longer are either. Which frustrates the hell out of I! I've always been partial to "Khaki Green" which as a Chinese Flea Market Merchant in Oakland or Cuppertino told me so eloquently. "Ahh, Many Americans really like this color". And I am indeed one that does. So why doesn't anyone including Carhartt, Key Imperial, Berne, or Roundhouse offer such. Carhartt only does in their insulated but, not in their regular unlined variety which is all I wear. Key Imperial used to but, now only offers Blue, Enzyme (acid) Washed, & Hickory Striped! Sadly Key Imperial used to offer Black, White, and Duck Bill ( light brown) as well. And the last time I checked those are not some awkward unpopular color's. Especially Black! They really need to start offering those in Black again if nothing else!!
I will start posting some photographs of myself and others who choose to wear nothing but Bib Overalls. And if by chance someone still makes the above sought after "Shortalls for Men" especially if they're white, light & dark brown, tan, dark black, grey, and khaki green let me know!
